About the Role

Holcim is seeking a skilled Screed Operator to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a Screed Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our construction operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain screed equipment to achieve precise asphalt thickness and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with the paver operator to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on paver equipment under the direction of the plant foreman or lead hand.
  • Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment by adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of equipment performance and material production.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve quality and productivity goals.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating a screed
  • Knowledge of City of Edmonton Specifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read survey markings
