Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at Trinity Communication Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and pulling CAT 5 and CAT 6 cable, as well as mounting face plates on surface mount boxes correctly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate cable infrastructure in data centres, buildings, and workstations
  • Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fibre optic, and hardware in closets
  • Route cable through data centres, buildings, and workstations
  • Test, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer requests and project requirements
  • Perform other duties as required by the departmental manager
Requirements
  • Excellent people skills, communication skills, and self-management skills
  • Honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to help
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to read blueprints
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, day, night, or weekends, with possible overnight stays
