Join Our Team as a Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will work directly with early-stage startups to help them build scalable and secure cloud architectures.

Your primary responsibility will be to engage with startup customers, providing them with technical advocacy as they build their products in the cloud. You will create plans to define how you will help your customers with their cloud needs, working closely with other members of the customer account team.

In addition to working directly with customers, you will also share your technical knowledge broadly by participating in select, startup-focused sessions with larger groups of customers. You will work with other teams at AWS to contribute to the creation of content that can be delivered to the broader startup community at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage directly with startup customers to provide technical advocacy as they build their products in the cloud.
  • Create plans to define how you will help your customers with their cloud needs.
  • Share your technical knowledge broadly by participating in select, startup-focused sessions with larger groups of customers.
  • Work with other teams at AWS to contribute to the creation of content that can be delivered to the broader startup community at scale.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent, or 8+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
