Livestock Handler

HIGHLINER STABLES LTD is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stable Hand. As a key member of our farm team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our horses.

• Animal Care: Monitor animal health, perform regular checks on the horses, and report any signs of illness or injury to the farm manager.
• Livestock Feeding: Assist with feeding and watering of the horses, ensuring they receive a balanced diet and access to clean water at all times.
• Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, plows, and other equipment necessary for farm operations.
• Facility Maintenance: Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the horses.
• Area of Specialization: Horses
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Personal Suitability: Punctuality, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team environment.
