About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at JS Romana Landscaping as a Landscape Worker. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
  • Perform manual labor tasks, such as raking, collecting refuse, and handling heavy loads.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of physical and mental demands.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
Working Conditions

As a Landscape Worker with JS Romana Landscaping, you will work outdoors in various locations, including residential and commercial properties. You will be exposed to wet/damp conditions, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
