GFL Environmental is a leading waste management company seeking skilled Truck Drivers to support our Solid Waste operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport solid waste from transfer stations to landfills
  • Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and safety concerns
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, and other incidents
  • Document driving and break periods in accordance with regulations
  • Retain records of fuel, tolls, and other expenses
  • Comply with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Drive up to 600-1100 km per day, with 10-14 hour runs
  • Return home nightly

Requirements:

  • Valid AZ License
  • 2+ years of related AZ driving experience
  • Waste hauling experience a plus
  • Heavy hauling experience considered an asset
  • Ability to cross US border daily
  • Provide a clean Driver's Abstract, CVOR Abstract, and criminal check
  • Great attitude and work ethic
  • Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
  • High level of personal integrity
