Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled BaSE Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a BaSE Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting plant floor devices to maintain optimal performance of plant floor equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internal customers and facility alarms and emergencies
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise and perform preventative maintenance
  • Provide information to maintenance mechanics on how to complete required repairs to resolve breakdown situations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering (preferred)
  • College diploma or advanced diploma in Engineering will be considered
  • Programming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams

Work Environment:

This role is based in Caledon, Ontario, Canada, and requires a 10AM to 6:30PM shift, Sunday to Thursday. The work location is 12424 Dixie Road, Caledon, and the pay rate is $25.40 per hour.
