Family Law Case Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Case Manager to join our team at the Law Office of Shelly Jean John.
This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate family law cases from intake to resolution, ensuring timely and efficient progression.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, and resolve issues.
- Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, including documents, correspondence, and calendar events.
- Assist with preparing and filing court documents, as well as responding to opposing counsel.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on family law procedures, court rules, and relevant legislation to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a family law or civil law firm environment, preferably in a case management or administrative role.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal software, case management, and calendaring programs.
- Ability to type 50 words per minute or faster.
