Job Title: Digital Production Designer

Are you a creative and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role in digital production? We are seeking a skilled Digital Production Designer to join our eCommerce Retail team at the ALDO Group.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Lead Graphic Designer to produce and manage visual content that aligns with our brand and business goals. This role involves handling the day-to-day production of graphics and videos for newsletters and the website, as well as assisting with website building to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns, activations, and promotions.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in graphic design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for creating engaging visual content and are looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce engaging graphics and visual content (static assets, videos, and gifs) for the website and newsletters.
  • Create mockups of website landing pages and newsletters for approvals.
  • Ensure all design work is consistent with our brand identity, UX guidelines, and accessibility laws.
  • Support occasional production files for retail marketing assets.
  • Assist with building and maintaining the website in the CMS by inputting content for key landing pages and modules and managing the archiving process.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver designs that meet deadlines.
  • Stay ahead of design trends to participate in ideation sessions.
Requirements:
  • College or University degree in graphic design (or equivalent).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Final Cut Pro and After Effects is required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of digital production programs (Sketch, Figma, and Zeplin) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of pre-press, print production, layout, and typography is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong creative portfolio.
