About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Meat Cutter to join our team at Safeway. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the highest quality meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and display meat products for customers, using knives and saws to cut and trim meat to exact specifications.
  • Stock and maintain meat displays, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering product recommendations to customers.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Previous retail meat cutting experience is an asset.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
