Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at South Point Pharmacy & Medical Clinic. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compounding and Dispensing: Assist pharmacists in compounding and dispensing pharmaceutical products, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications and prescription records, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, workflow, and general administrative tasks, ensuring seamless operation of the pharmacy.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with settlement needs, language training, and skills training for newcomers and refugees, promoting social and labour market integration.
  • Support for Youth and Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth and Indigenous workers, promoting diversity and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Will train.

Work Environment:

  • 35 hours per week.
  • English language.
