Job Title: Glass Installation Foreman/Woman

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Glass Installation Foreman/Woman to join our team at Canglow Windows and Doors Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of glass products and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation of glass products
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of time and resources
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and development programs
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate installation
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in glass installation or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team

Work Environment

Work locations may vary, and frequent or constant travel is required from the employee. Work will be performed outdoors, at heights, and in various work settings, including construction, inspection, installation, and maintenance.

Additional Information

Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication and organizational skills, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
