Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a High Level of Safety
    • Identify and report potential safety hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and protocols established by governing bodies and our Environmental Health and Safety Committee.
    • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area through 5S practices.
    • Promote a safe and hygienic working environment through your actions and behaviors.
    • Work in a manner that does not compromise the safety of yourself or your colleagues.
  • Manage and Relocate Regular Inventory
    • Collect, transport, and relocate bins containing inventory to designated areas as instructed by your supervisor.
    • Perform packaging activities for bins containing chemical inventory in accordance with internal packaging processes and guidelines provided by the Shipping and Logistics Supervisor.
    • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as required.
    • Communicate effectively with Finished Goods, Shipping & Logistics Supervisors, and management to ensure potentially compromised products are removed and placed in a secured quarantine area for assessment.
    • Perform all tasks within the scope of applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Task Instructions (TIN), or Work Instructions (WI) related to your job function.
  • Perform Other Duties
    • Perform additional duties and complete assigned projects as directed by Finished Goods or Shipping & Logistics Supervisors.
Requirements
  • Education and Competencies
    • No minimum education is required, but a College diploma with a background in Chemistry is an asset.
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Physical and Working Conditions
    • Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
    • Work closely with chemical compounds, including those that may be toxic or classified as Dangerous Goods.
    • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while handling chemicals, including a respirator that requires fit testing and steel toe cap safety shoes.
    • Clean shaving is required to comply with PPE policies.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and/or push carts carrying heavy objects for short periods of time throughout the day.
    • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30kg for short distances (
