Position Overview

AIM Lévis is in search of a skilled evening heavy machinery technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing issues and executing repairs and maintenance on demolition machinery, including excavators, demolition tools, mini excavators, skid steer loaders, and concrete crushing equipment.

Conduct repairs on machinery and address hydraulic and electrical systems as required; Perform necessary maintenance on hydraulic hammers, shears, and pliers; Execute oil changes on equipment following manufacturer guidelines; Operate and assess machinery to identify faults; Disassemble and reassemble equipment utilizing cranes, hoists, and hand tools; Inspect components for damage or excessive wear and advise the service manager accordingly; Test repaired equipment to confirm operational efficiency; Repair and weld related excavator attachments as needed; Maintain a clean and safe working environment consistently; Undertake other related tasks as required.

DEP in construction machinery mechanics Self-sufficient and resourceful Strong communication abilities Teamwork skills Analytical skills for problem-solving Basic English proficiency (functional)

Additional Information

Typical working hours: Monday to Wednesday from 2:30 PM to 2:00 AM and Thursday from 2:30 PM to midnight; Overtime compensated at time and a half after 40 hours; Full-time position with guaranteed job security.
