We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles. You will also set tiles in place, apply pressure to affix them to the base, and align and straighten tiles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in tile setting
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Health care plan
  • Permanent employment
  • 32 hours per week
  • English language
