Job Title: Primary Teacher - Temporary Part-Time Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at the Key Learning Centre in Fort St John, BC. This is a temporary part-time position effective November 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching primary level students in an online learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for creating engaging and interactive lessons.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach primary level students in an online learning environment
  • Develop and implement engaging and interactive lessons
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements:
  • Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate
  • Qualifications and demonstrated ability to teach primary level subjects
  • Experience with universal design and differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, collaboration and organization skills
  • Experience/training/knowledge of Social Emotional Learning
