Heavy Duty Mechanic Opportunity at Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a skilled Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Field Service team in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
  • Planning and execution of maintenance tasks
  • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Identification and replacement of faulty components
  • Supporting customer operations and product maintenance
  • Completion of maintenance reports and documentation
  • Training and coaching of customer technicians

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a Mechanical or Electrical field and Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic License
  • At least 3 years of experience in mining equipment maintenance
  • Excellent proficiency in reading technical schematics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license
