Job Overview

RPI SYSTEMS LTD is seeking a skilled Sprinkler and Fire Protection Installer to join our team. This role involves the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems to ensure safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Installation: Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
  • Support Structures: Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and fire protection equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Equipment Setup: Install valves, alarms, and associated equipment.
  • Pipe Joining: Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding techniques.
  • Maintenance: Service and repair sprinkler systems as needed.
  • Supervision: Oversee the work of other team members.
  • Leak Testing: Test systems for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment.
  • System Cleaning: Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings, and flush systems.
  • Pipe Cutting: Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using appropriate tools.
  • Installation Tasks: Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
  • Pipe Shaping: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years and less than 5 years of relevant experience.
