About the Role

We're seeking a talented and dynamic Seasonal Server Assistant to join our team at Café Boulud, a French Brasserie located in the heart of Toronto's historic Yorkville neighbourhood. As a Server Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests, working closely with our Food Server and Food Runner to ensure seamless service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining area
  • Support the Food Server and Food Runner in providing exceptional service, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
  • Develop a strong understanding of our menu, including brasserie classics and contemporary dishes inspired by Chef Daniel Boulud's family meals in Lyon
  • Collaborate with the team to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of previous Busperson experience in a fast-paced food and beverage operation
  • Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language
  • Additional language a definite asset for career growth
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs and work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
