Lead Automation Engineer for Power Systems

Role Overview:

The Digital Power Application Center is looking to enhance its team with a Technical Project Leader. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about automating electrical distribution systems within critical infrastructure environments, including healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, data management centers, microgrid systems, and electric vehicle infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the design and development of automation systems.
  2. Collaborate effectively as part of a project team during implementation phases.
  3. Lead specific stages of project execution or manage the project from inception to completion.

Qualifications for Success:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation and/or SCADA project management.
  3. Professional Engineer registration with the relevant provincial engineering body.
  4. Experience with Industrial Power Systems, particularly in healthcare and railway sectors, is highly desirable.
  5. A valid driving license is necessary.
  6. Willingness to travel to client locations as required (up to 30%).
  7. For candidates in Quebec, proficiency in both English and French is essential to engage with stakeholders across various regions.
