Role Overview
The Production Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the daily production activities within the plant. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing protocols, quality assurance practices, and adherence to regulatory standards pertinent to infant nutrition. The Production Manager is committed to delivering superior quality products while cultivating a workplace where employees take pride in their contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management: Strategically plan, organize, and evaluate production processes to achieve targets while upholding quality standards.
- Quality Control: Enforce rigorous quality assurance protocols to guarantee product safety and consistency, complying with industry regulations and best practices.
- Team Development: Lead and nurture a team of production personnel, providing guidance and constructive feedback to promote a culture of improvement and accountability.
- Safety Leadership: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and conducting regular inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies for optimizing production efficiency and reducing costs through lean manufacturing principles.
- Regulatory Adherence: Maintain compliance with all relevant national and international regulations governing infant formula production.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to drive improvements and support new product initiatives.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor production metrics to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Training Oversight: Recruit and train production staff, ensuring their ongoing professional development.
- Budget Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, forecasting production costs and necessary investments for operational improvements.
Work Environment
