Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Shelina Harji. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking, as well as light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Support clients with mobility issues, such as walking and transferring.
  • Administer medication and provide first aid when necessary.
  • Engage in activities that promote social interaction and companionship, such as reading, watching movies, or playing games.
Requirements:
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker certification.
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
