About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Cloud Architect - SI Partners to join our team at Snowflake. As a key member of our Systems Integrators Go To Market Initiatives, you will play a critical role in helping our customers unlock the power of Snowflake's Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help Solution Providers/Practice Leads develop technical strategies to enable them to sell their offerings on Snowflake.
  • Provide forward-thinking and strategic guidance to help Solution Providers/Practice Leads quickly grasp new concepts and business value messaging.
  • Work closely with Solution Providers/Practice Leads to understand their revenue models and industry priorities, and identify opportunities for Snowflake products to have the most impact.
  • Collaborate with Solution Providers/Practice Leads to develop and launch joint differentiated solution offerings.
  • Engage in conversations with other technologists and provide presentations at the C-level.

Requirements:

  • Provide technical product and deep architectural expertise to our Partner Solution Architect community.
  • Have production-level hands-on expertise in developing and deploying PySpark or Scala and SQL to build ELT/data pipelines into production environments.
  • Have hands-on experience in designing and building highly scalable data pipelines using Spark, Kafka to ingest data from various systems.
  • Have experience with integration platforms like Matillion, FiveTran, Informatica, dbtCloud etc.
  • Have experience with database technologies.
  • Have hands-on technical experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Google Cloud Build.
  • Have strong experience with major cloud platforms and tooling, especially Azure or AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Have experience using Big Data or Cloud integration technologies such as Matillion, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, etc.
  • Have experience with AI/ML use cases.
  • Have 5+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale systems in production.
  • Be passionate about improving overall developer experience, prior experience in Developer Platform, Developer Experiences or Developer Productivity is a plus.
  • Have strong CS fundamentals, including proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Have fluency in multiple programming languages.
  • Have knowledge of database internals.
  • Have experience working with cross teams and product managers.
  • Have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors.
