Marine Equipment Specialist

Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical repairs on gasoline marine engines, outboard motors, and associated marine systems.
- Diagnose and test marine engines and equipment to identify necessary repairs and enhancements.
- Install electronics and accessories as needed.
- Unpack new outboard engines and secure them to transoms on PDI trailers; assemble boat, motor, and trailer into complete units.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine water systems, including heads and holding tanks, bilge pumps, etc.
- Winterize and prepare all marine systems and accessories for summer use.
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding diagnoses, required repairs, and additional work needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service shop environment.
- Operate necessary equipment such as forklifts and gantry lifts (training and certification provided).
Qualifications:
- A strong passion for powersports with a solid mechanical background in the marine industry.
- Experience in the marine sector.
- In-depth knowledge of marine motors.
- Valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Personal tools required; the company will provide specific OEM tools.
- Must be organized, responsible, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Ability to safely lift and manage job-related materials.
- Positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Capability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in using computers for electrical diagnostic software.
