About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Aldershot Village Dental. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for dental examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  • Supply Management: Order dental and office supplies, maintaining a well-stocked inventory to support our dental care services.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Instrument Maintenance: Prepare dental instruments and filling materials, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain and order supplies, ensuring our practice has the necessary resources to provide high-quality care.
  • Clinical Support: Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients concerning oral hygiene, promoting healthy habits and preventing dental issues.
  • Front Desk Operations: Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Work Setting: Dental practice or specialty dental practice.
