About the Team
The Product Design team at Stripe is responsible for defining, creating, and delivering user-facing aspects of the Stripe brand and product. Product Designers collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management teams to design and deliver seamless, beautiful experiences for our users.
Global Selling Initiative
Our Global Selling initiative is a key part of our strategy to create conversion-optimized payment experiences that are simple to adopt. We aim to build a one-click solution that simplifies selling in other countries, enabling large and small merchants to expand their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop an integrated solution that makes selling globally simple for merchants.
- Enable price localization on all of Stripe's Checkout integrations.
- Develop new components that reach into the shopping experience.
- Shape Stripe's design system around cross-border selling.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant design experience at a product-driven tech company.
- Strong craft demonstrated through a portfolio of work, spanning web and native mobile surfaces.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing consumer products.
- Strong independence and ability to advocate for a larger design vision with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to reduce complex problems down to the right balance of flexibility, power, and ease of use.
- Skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and crave feedback to help you produce your best work.
Hybrid Work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location. We offer flexibility to work from home or in our office, depending on your preference.
Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is C$150,900 - C$226,300. This range may change if you are hired in another location. Benefits and additional compensation for this role may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends.
