Warehouse Utility Job Description

The Warehouse Utility position is a key role in promoting safety, quality, and efficiency in our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Utility, you will be responsible for learning to operate all packing equipment independently and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Above all, you will be expected to carry out all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance, and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's license.
  • Local to Saskatoon.
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Possess excellent communication skills: ability to effectively communicate with Plant Management, Facility Lead, and Warehouse Blender.
Good to Have:
  • Basic mechanical experience, the job will require mechanical adjustments and know-how.
  • Be a quick learner that can operate independently quickly after initial training.
  • Demonstrate the ability to resolve personnel conflict.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times every day, lift 30KG regularly, kneel, and crawl.
  • May be required to become qualified to drive forklift safely and effectively.
  • Work in an environment that is not temperature controlled.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas.

Team members must be clean-shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required.
