Senior Project Manager for Hydroelectric Facilities

CIMA+ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager/Engineer to join our Energy team specializing in hydropower and dam engineering. The ideal candidate will have expertise in civil/structural engineering and the rehabilitation of hydraulic structures and hydroelectric power plants, particularly with Hydro-Québec.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate major projects related to dams and hydroelectric facilities.
- Oversee the design of hydraulic structures and works.
- Participate in the technical coordination and management of major projects.
- Contribute to proposal preparation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
- Develop and implement technical solutions that meet client needs.
- Plan project stages, monitor progress, and ensure schedule compliance.
- Ensure quality control of project practices.
- Support and verify the work of other specialized engineers.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of engineers, technicians, and draftspersons involved in the projects.
- University Degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Master's Degree, Business Administration Diploma, or Project Management certification (an asset).
- More than ten years of experience in hydroelectricity/hydropower and dams.
- Member of l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
