Eligibility Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial lending, capital markets, treasury, accounting, or finance
  • Strong understanding of lending credit principles and the regulatory framework of the mortgage sector
  • Experience in capital markets solutions and strategic planning
  • Proven ability to build and lead teams effectively

Desirable Qualifications

  • MBA, CPA, or CFA designation
  • 7 years of experience in mortgage finance within a financial services organization or banking
  • Familiarity with the NHA MBS marketplace, residential mortgage capital markets, and investor reporting standards
  • Established relationships and network with mortgage aggregators
  • Capability to analyze reports and evaluate outcomes to inform decision-making

Position Overview

As the Capital Markets Team Supervisor, you will guide our organization through various strategic initiatives and oversee operations related to lending, finance, treasury, and capital markets programs. This role involves collaboration with business partners to ensure that funding and capital solutions are effectively addressed while fostering the development and leadership of your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to direct reports while driving business outcomes
  • Collaborate with senior management to execute the strategic vision for the team
  • Identify and facilitate the implementation of key initiatives
  • Evaluate and prioritize business investments
  • Conduct periodic assessments of lending risks for relevant business sectors
  • Lead communication and relationship management with key mortgage aggregators for funding and capital requirements
  • Ensure compliance with reporting obligations of mortgage aggregators while enhancing operational efficiencies
  • Act as a subject matter expert in lending finance and capital market initiatives to optimize capital efficiency and meet funding service requirements
  • Promote teamwork and development across various business units, including finance, capital markets, and accounting
  • Oversee special projects as assigned, such as conducting treasury and capital markets analyses, credit risk assessments, or reviewing collateral reports
  • Stay informed about market trends and industry developments
  • Recommend enhancements to policies, standards, guidelines, and processes to improve work delivery without compromising quality
