Anesthesiology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH). As a member of our close-knit and collegial group of anesthesiologists, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.

• Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective patient care
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures

Nanaimo Regional General Hospital is a 356-bed regional hospital providing services to a population of 160,000 and a secondary referral population of over 350,000. Our hospital features 10 main operating rooms and 2 ambulatory operating rooms, with a busy emergency service conducting approximately 2,300 emergency surgeries per year.
