Job Title

Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities of our production facilities, ensuring that equipment is in good working order and that production requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure efficient and effective equipment operation
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources to optimize equipment performance and minimize costs

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in high-volume manufacturing positions
  • Minimum 5 years' experience supervising people in manufacturing operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications
  • Detail-oriented and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead and manage projects to completion

Education and Experience

  • Mechanical Engineer with a minimum 3 years' experience in food processing plants
  • Millwright and/or Electrician red seal ticket is an advantage
  • Class 4 Boiler Ticket is an advantage

Work Environment

Flexibility required for shift coverage according to operational requirements

Compensation and Benefits

  • $80,000-$100,000 / year (commensurate with experience and location)
