Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to work as casual/on-call security guards for special events in the areas of Yorkton and Melville. This position may develop into permanent full-time employment depending on performance and potential new contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security services for events and locations in Yorkton and Melville
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safety and security of individuals and property
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and the public
  • Complete required training and certifications, including Emergency First Aid/CPR, Use of Force, and Dealing with Difficult People
  • Meet the requirements for licensure as a Security Guard in the Province of Saskatchewan

Requirements:

  • Criminal Record Check and reference background check
  • Ability to work in Saskatchewan
  • Experience in the security industry an asset
  • Multiple language profiles an asset
  • Attention to detail and professional approach in all areas of work and appearance
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Highly flexible and able to work effectively in a diverse environment
  • Able to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Computer experience, including MS Word, Excel, and email
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with accuracy
  • Availability to work statutory holidays and weekends
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License and clean driver's abstract (may be required)
