Job Title: Welder Specialist

SKYLINE WELDING & FABRICATION LTD. is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a Welder Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks, including operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications, and examining welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts together
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the best welding technique and equipment to use
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Determine weldability of materials and select the appropriate welding technique and equipment
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Commercial work site environment
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding
  • Manual dexterity
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. You will be required to work outdoors and in a commercial setting. You will be expected to maintain a high level of manual dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination to perform your duties safely and efficiently.
