About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at River Cree Resort & Casino. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the fiscal integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Capital and Balance Sheet Management
    • Manage liquidity, interest rate risk, foreign exchange, and treasury operations to optimize financial performance.
    • Develop and implement effective capital expenditure management processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning and Management
    • Contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan, aligning financial goals with overall business objectives.
    • Identify and evaluate business opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and transparency within the finance function.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the hospitality or gaming industry.
  • CPA designation and advanced degrees (MBA, Master's in Finance or Accounting) are assets.
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to transparency and integrity.
  • Ability to see the big picture, align financial strategy with overall business goals, and manage risks associated with cash, capital, and resource deployment.
