About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at Kids Haven Childcare. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, including trial balances and reconciliations
  • Prepare tax returns and other financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports
  • Utilize accounting software and MS Excel to manage financial data and perform tasks
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
