We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Custodian to join our team at the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional custodial services to our schools.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff to ensure that all areas of the school are clean and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of the school community.
- Manage and maintain custodial supplies and equipment to ensure that they are in good working order.
- Collaborate with school administrators and staff to identify and address custodial needs and concerns.
- Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed in the workplace.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. facilities management, hospitality, etc.).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a custodial supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
