We are seeking a dedicated Medical Care Attendant to provide essential support in a healthcare environment. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.

Work Details

  • Experience Level: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment
  • Relocation costs are not covered by the employer.
  • Willingness to relocate is required.
  • Work settings include hospitals or long-term care facilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in serving meal trays and feeding patients.
  • Support in weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
  • Maintain cleanliness by making beds and organizing patient rooms.
  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Respond to call signals to assess and address patient needs.
Qualifications
  • Completion of Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training.
  • Possession of a Nursing Aide Certificate.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate is preferred.
Safety and Security
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
Physical and Work Conditions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Frequent walking is required.
