About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Park Plaza Fitness & Rec Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale System: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock and Maintain the Sales Floor: Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain a clean and tidy sales environment.
  • Process Transactions and Handle Returns: Accurately process returns, exchanges, and refunds, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work Collaboratively with Colleagues: Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending are required for this role.
