Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Developer to join our team. As a Big Data Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale data processing systems using Hadoop, Spark, and Java/Scala.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize Big Data applications using Java/Scala and Spark on Cloudera/HDP
  • Design and implement micro-service architecture
  • Experience in developing applications in Spring & Spring Boot
  • Programming experience in Python (2+ years)
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

  • 5+ years application development experience in Hadoop, Spark and Java/Scala
  • 10+ years application development experience in Java and Spring Framework
  • Experience in developing/designing micro-service architecture
  • Extensive experience in one of the cloud providers AWS/Azure and migrating large scale complex projects from on-prem to Cloud including in-between hybrid options
  • Proven hands-on experience in containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift etc.
