The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a family physician to join their primary health care team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative practice setting, providing comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers in the clinic to provide cross-coverage and same-day access to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) to record all relevant patient details, ensuring seamless communication with other healthcare providers.
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week.
- On-call requirement.
- 46 weeks per year.
- Four weeks of vacation.
- Two weeks of continuing medical education.
Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
Member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
