About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Red Leaf Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of logistics coordinators to ensure efficient operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support logistics operations.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
