Job Title: Asphalt Spreader

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Spreader to join our team at Taha Development Group Inc. As an Asphalt Spreader, you will be responsible for spreading asphalt on roads, highways, and other surfaces.

Job Description:

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience

Tasks:

  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move and place equipment and materials
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses:

  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
