We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant looking for a skilled Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and supporting our culinary team in preparing and serving delicious meals to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash dishes, and sanitize kitchen items by hand.
  • Stock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with food, supplies, and cleaning products.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including cleaning products and food items.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist in food preparation, including portioning, wrapping, and packaging take-out food.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
