About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Tobacco Farm Worker at Southcoast Farming Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Harvest crops in a timely and efficient manner to meet market demands.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market, ensuring high standards are met.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions, including wet, damp, and hot temperatures. The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as handling heavy loads.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a rural area, with various locations, and adapt to changing work conditions.
