Job Title: Ironworker

BC Ltd. is seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms. You will also align, weld, or bolt units in place, and dismantle metal, pre-cast concrete, or laminated timber buildings and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Align, weld, or bolt units in place
  • Dismantle metal, pre-cast concrete, or laminated timber buildings and other structures
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
  • Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
