Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Home Support Scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating home support service schedules, ensuring that our community health workers are properly scheduled and equipped to provide high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate home support service schedules in accordance with service referral requests and applicable collective agreements.
  • Schedule Community Health Workers (CHWs) as authorized by clinicians, receiving referrals and service changes, and entering data into our computer system.
  • Carry out timekeeping tasks, such as coordinating work schedules on our scheduling software system.
  • Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Manage a high volume of work and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 graduation and a recognized Office Administration Certificate program.
  • Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Ability to type 40 wpm.
  • Ability to operate scheduling and database software in a Windows environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
