Job Summary

Les Instruments de Musique Twigg Inc. is seeking a skilled Wind Instrument Technician to join our team. As a Wind Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining musical instruments to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose Instruments: Carefully examine musical instruments to identify areas that require repair or maintenance.
  • Repair and Maintain Instruments: Use hand, power, or specially designed tools to repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components.
  • Test and Adjust Instruments: Test and adjust repaired instruments to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Calibrate Instruments: Calibrate instruments using hand tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in wind instrument repair and maintenance.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
Work Environment

As a Wind Instrument Technician, you will work in a dusty and noisy environment, with occasional overtime required. You will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
