We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Kush Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality structures.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
- Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites, ensuring efficient project timelines and resource allocation.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings, such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Work in a fast-paced construction environment with a large workload and overtime requirements.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, requiring strength, endurance, and manual dexterity.
- Work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.
- Work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
