About the Role

As a key member of our Data Science team at Avanade, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients unlock the full potential of their data. Our team is comprised of highly skilled and experienced professionals who are passionate about leveraging data science to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced data science solutions to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science into business processes
  • Develop and maintain expertise in data science tools and technologies, including Python, SQL, and Azure ML Studio
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling
  • Familiarity with SQL for querying databases
  • Ability to clean, preprocess, and transform raw data
  • Understanding of Azure ML Studio or Azure Databricks (Pyspark)
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals)
  • Basic knowledge of prompt engineering and fine tuning & Azure OpenAI
  • Experience with Azure AI Search & Vector Indexes
  • Experience working with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
