We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at P & G Truck & Trailer Repair Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' commercial transport trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your technical expertise to identify and repair problems with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Inspect and Test Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
- Communicate with Supervisors: Collaborate with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs and to discuss work progress.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Offer top-notch customer service by advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
